Rehearsal Dinner

Friday morning, we got up, packed up and left for Savannah. Matt & Jay drove in Jami's brother Adam's truck. (Thanks Adam!! See Billy, Adam's motorcycle IS handy! *wink*) Nana, Lily, Ben & I drove in our rental car. After a too long Target run (what Target run ISN'T long, I ask you!) we got to SAV and checked into the hotel. Lily was so disappointed in the hotel after the amazing house we had just come from. She said, "no kitchen? unbelievable!!" The boys returned the rental car & the girls met Jami at the nail salon. Lily got the works and the flower girl IS a part of the wedding party. She took after her Nana and talked the nail lady's ear off. We then headed back to the hotel and across the street to the museum.
The wedding rehearsal lasted about 15 minutes for a few reasons:
1. Neil Dean is good at his job as officiant
2. Not all of the wedding party had arriver in Savannah
3. It was wicked hot and everyone wanted to get back to the air conditioning

My Dad dropped my stuff & I at the beautiful house the bridal party was staying at.
This is probably the last time I'll get to curl Jami's hair because she is going to cut it all off!! Waaahhhhhhh!

We drove to the Pirate's House for the rehearsal dinner, late, of course, but pretty.
I wanted evidence that Laffer's drink had an umbrella & not mine.
Crazy eyes was going down the list of fruity drinks, backwards.

Note* it really was a pirate's house. There is one teeny tiny room inside the restaurant that was the first house in Savannah (or building, or something) and they just built the pirate house around it. It's pretty cool!
Some people got really into the pirate thing

I think this was the happiest Ben has been on our entire trip. He was in his element!

Lily, Miss Heather & baby O'Connor!
